Ann Arbor CodeRed Alerts

The City of Ann Arbor, MI is establishing an emergency notification system.  The system automatically calls up to 60,000 phone numbers per hour, leaving a message.  It is activated for scary things such as chemical spills, less scary things such as "boil water" alerts, and urgent matters such as missing persons reports.  Ann Arbor residents can click on the graphic to register with the system.
