One of my pet theories is
the notion, that a great deal of human anxiety
is caused by a failure to accept the necessity of intuition.
My reasoning goes like this: The perfect antidote to anxiety
is certainty. Certainty requires proof. Outside the
realm of pure
logic, no real proof exists; therefore, in the world beyond pure logic,
it never will be possible to attain that perfect antidote. I
see a lot of people who attempt to
manage their anxiety by trying to prove things that cannot be
proven. It does not work very well. That topic is
worth a post or two.
Power is based upon knowledge, and knowledge is based upon guesswork; therefore, the basis of power is guesswork, and all power is questionable. This is why those individuals who are the most narcissistic also are the most insecure.
