Antidepressant Outcome Studies III

I didn't write it.  Alex C. wrote it and posted it here.  The site does not seem to have permalinks, but the post is dated 4/15/2004.  Mr. Chernavsky has compiled an extensive list of references that present evidence that antidepressant medication does not work, and some more about the methodological problems with studies on the subject.  He obviously has put a lot of time into this, and is serious about what he says.   He argues that clinical studies may in fact be biased in such a way as to make it more likely to find a positive result, contrary to what I said.

If you read Mr. Chenavsky's article and conclude that this a very confusing subject, you would be right.  It will take some time to get together a good response.  Bill at INDC Journal promises a response too, but hasn't posted it yet.
